For one of the largest manufacturers of sanitary equipment in the Czech Republic, RECUTHERM s.r.o. manufactured and installed 1 piece of recuperator, the obtained power of which is approximately 50 kW.

Waste heat is obtained from the operational exhaust from the baking oven of the powder coating line and the obtained heat is further used for heating the chemical pre-treatment tanks.

The waste heat recovery unit also included a special heat exchanger designed for installations with a high volume of dust particles, which also fulfill the function of a cleanable filter.

The manufacture and installation of the waste heat recovery unit itself was preceded by measuring the input parameters (especially volume, humidity and waste heat temperature), designing the optimal size of the heat exchanger and calculating the return on investment.

The waste heat recovery unit was installed with the aim of reducing energy consumption, saving operating costs and reducing the carbon footprint.
