Bobcat Doosan (Dobříš)

One of the largest installations of RECUTHERM s.r.o. took place in Dobříš. For the company Bobcat, specializing in the production of excavators and mini loaders, we installed a total of 6 waste heat recovery units.

These 6 pieces of waste heat recovery unit saved a total of about 120 kW. The waste heat recovery units were equipped with special stainless-steel exchangers designed for operation in high temperatures.

In this particular case, the residual heat is obtained from the chimneys of the burners from the baking oven of the powder coating line and is further used to heat the chemical pretreatment tanks.

The production and installation of the waste heat recovery units itself was preceded by measuring the input parameters (especially the volume, humidity and temperature of waste heat), designing the optimal size of the heat exchangers and calculating the return on investment.

The waste heat recovery units were installed with the aim of reducing energy consumption, saving operating costs and reducing the carbon footprint.
