Frauenthal (Hustopeče)

RECUTHERM s.r.o. manufactured and installed 1 piece of waste heat recovery unit in a factory producing pressure vessels in Hustopeče. This recuperator achieves an output of approximately 50 kW.

Waste heat is obtained from the operating exhaust of the drying oven of the powder coating line and the obtained heat is further used for heating the chemical pretreatment tanks.

This is a so-called “clean” variant, where dust particles do not appear in the coating process.

The manufacture and installation of the waste heat recovery unit itself was preceded by measuring the input parameters (especially volume, humidity and waste heat temperature), designing the optimal size of the heat exchanger and calculating the return on investment.

The waste heat recovery unit was installed with the aim to reduce energy consumption, to save operating costs and to reduce the carbon footprint.
