KYB Manufacturing Czech, s.r.o. (Pardubice) – 2. instalation

RECUTHERM s.r.o. installed another (second) piece of waste heat recovery unit for waste heat recovery in Pardubice for KYB – one of the largest manufacturers of automotive shock absorbers.

This was a heat recovery unit with a total output of approximately 45kW. We obtain waste heat from the operating exhaust of the EC paint line’s baking oven and use the obtained heat to heat the chemical pre-treatment tanks.

The equipment also included special heat exchangers designed for installations with a high volume of dust particles, which also serve as a cleanable filter.

The production and installation of the heat recovery unit itself was preceded by measuring the input parameters (especially the volume, humidity and temperature of waste heat), designing the optimal size of the heat exchanger and calculating the return on investment.
