For an air conditioning manufacturer in Prague, RECUTHERM s.r.o. manufactured and installed 1 piece of waste heat recovery unit. This heat recovery equipment achieves a power output of 60kW.

Waste heat is collected from the operational exhaust of the powder coating line’s baking oven and the heat obtained is further used to heat the chemical pre-treatment tanks.

The waste heat recovery unit also included special heat exchangers designed for installations with a high volume of dust particles, which also fulfill the function of a cleanable filter.

The production and installation of the waste heat recovery unit itself was preceded by measuring the input parameters (especially the volume, humidity and temperature of waste heat), designing the optimal size of the heat exchanger and calculating the return on investment.

The waste heat recovery unit was installed with the aim of reducing energy consumption, saving operating costs and reducing the carbon footprint.
