MRB Sazovice

RECUTHERM s.r.o. installed one piece of waste heat recovery unit for MRB Sazovice, spol. s r.o. specializing in complete metal production.

The waste heat recovery unit achieves a total output of approximately 65kW.

The waste heat is obtained from the operating exhaust of the baking oven of the powder coating line and the obtained heat is further used for heating the chemical pretreatment tanks.

The waste heat recovery unit also included a special heat exchanger designed for installations with a high volume of dust particles, which also fulfill the function of a cleanable filter.

The manufacture and installation of the waste heat recovery unit itself was preceded by measuring the input parameters (especially volume, humidity and waste heat temperature), designing the optimal size of the heat exchanger and calculating the return on investment.

The waste heat recovery unit was installed with the aim to reduce energy consumption, to save operating costs and to reduce the carbon footprint.
