PULCO a.s. (Brno)

One of the first installations of RECUTHERM s.r.o. was also the installation of a waste heat recovery unit in Pulco a.s. in Brno.

The recuperator obtains approximately 50kW from the operational exhaust of the baking oven of the powder coating line and the waste heat is further used to heat the chemical pretreatment tanks.

The recuperator also included a special heat exchanger designed for installations with a high volume of dust particles, which also fulfill the function of a cleanable filter.

The manufacture and installation of the waste heat recovery unit itself was preceded by measuring the input parameters (especially volume, humidity and waste heat temperature), designing the optimal size of the heat exchanger and calculating the return on investment.

The waste heat recovery unit was installed with the aim to reduce energy consumption, to save operating costs and to reduce the carbon footprint.
